It was in February 1967, in the history of Padmashali community in
twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, a golden chapter has began
to take shape.
Prominent social workers, Late Sri Addagatla Narsaiah and Late Sri Nomula Swamidas,
had conceived an idea of establishing a Centre for the Integrated
Development and Welfare of Padmashali Society.
Many prominent community members had readily consented the idea and the
concept was translated into reality after acquiring a site of 4220sq
yards for the Centre at West Marredpally, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh,
india.
Late Sri Addagatla Narsaiah had named it as Padmashali Seva Samajam with
the unanimous resolution of the founder members. Late Sri Addagatla
Narsaiah, Sri Nomula Swamidas, Sri Surakanti Veeresham, Sri Samala
Venkataiah etc. have declared initial donations and collected donations
from others. Within a short time they strengthened the Trust by constructing
10 commercial shops facing the road on the above site. In a phased
manner gradually, the Trustees have built the other rooms & buildings.
In the year
1984 the Trust had resolved to construct a beautiful Kalyana Mandapam in the name and style of “Padmashali Kalyana Mandapam”.
Notable
donations were contributed by Shri Chippa Babaiah,Shri Sangisetty
Sambaiah and with the help of founder trustees , other Donors also had
contributed their support till the completion of Padmashali Kalyana
Mandapam.
Padmashali Kalyana Mandapam was inaugurated on 28-01-1990, by Shri Marri
Chenna Reddy, the then Cheif Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Now,it enjoys
the reputation as one of
the best in Hyderabad & Secunderabad with all facilities at very
reasonable rates.
